Introduite en juillet 2016, la taxe est due par tous les touristes \u00e2g\u00e9s de plus de 16 ans et varie actuellement de 0,50\u20ac \u00e0 2,50\u20ac par jour, en \u00e9t\u00e9, en fonction de la cat\u00e9gorie d'h\u00e9bergement. L'augmentation de la taxe pour l'ann\u00e9e prochaine a \u00e9t\u00e9 accueillie favorablement par certaines parties, dont les syndicats et les \u00e9cologistes. Le ministre du tourisme, Biel Barcel\u00f3, a insist\u00e9 sur \"l'acceptation sociale\" de la taxe, qui vise \u00e0 promouvoir le tourisme durable.<\/p>\n<p>Une grande partie du secteur des affaires a toutefois condamn\u00e9 cette mesure et les voyagistes s'opposent \u00e0 l'augmentation de la taxe. Le PDG de Thomas Cook Tour Operators, Peter Fankhauser, affirme que le segment des touristes familiaux pourrait envisager de chercher des alternatives aux Bal\u00e9ares en raison de ces d\u00e9penses suppl\u00e9mentaires. Jusqu'\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, la taxe ne semble pas avoir eu d'effet n\u00e9gatif sur le tourisme, puisque les visiteurs des Bal\u00e9ares ont atteint un nombre record pour la huiti\u00e8me ann\u00e9e cons\u00e9cutive.<\/p>\n<p>En mai 2017, le nombre de visiteurs en provenance du Royaume-Uni a augment\u00e9 de 20% \u00e0 Majorque, et les \u00eeles Bal\u00e9ares sont devenues, globalement, plus attrayantes en tant que destinations de vacances. Une partie de l'activit\u00e9 de location s'est d\u00e9plac\u00e9e vers des logements priv\u00e9s o\u00f9 la croissance a d\u00e9pass\u00e9 celle du secteur commercial pour la premi\u00e8re fois, faisant de l'achat-vente une proposition tr\u00e8s attrayante. Le gouvernement insiste sur le fait que les d\u00e9penses des touristes n'ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 affect\u00e9es par l'introduction de la taxe de s\u00e9jour, mais les propri\u00e9taires de petites entreprises ne sont pas d'accord, alors que les supermarch\u00e9s et les grands d\u00e9taillants ont en fait signal\u00e9 une augmentation de leurs b\u00e9n\u00e9fices, due en grande partie aux locations de vacances priv\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Il convient de noter que toute r\u00e9duction anticip\u00e9e des r\u00e9servations d'h\u00f4tel en septembre sera compens\u00e9e par des prix plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s. Les recettes de la taxe de s\u00e9jour sont destin\u00e9es \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l'infrastructure des \u00eeles, ce qui les rendra plus attrayantes pour le march\u00e9 de la location. Des projets tels que l'ach\u00e8vement de la promenade de la baie de San Antonio, \u00e0 Ibiza, qui \u00e9tait attendu depuis longtemps, se sont vus promettre une injection de fonds qui augmentera la valeur des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s \u00e0 l'avenir.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #333399;\">R\u00e9action \u00e0 la nouvelle l\u00e9gislation sur la location<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Les modifications apport\u00e9es \u00e0 la l\u00e9gislation sur les locations priv\u00e9es, introduites en juillet de cette ann\u00e9e, ont suscit\u00e9 de vives r\u00e9actions de la part des parties concern\u00e9es. La l\u00e9gislation a \u00e9t\u00e9 mise en place pour r\u00e9glementer la location de logements, tout en reconnaissant le besoin de ces propri\u00e9t\u00e9s comme alternative aux logements de vacances commerciaux.<\/p>\n<p>Le gouvernement maintient que les nouvelles lois sont n\u00e9cessaires pour garantir des licences et des normes appropri\u00e9es ainsi que le paiement des taxes correspondantes. Le parti politique Ciudadanos, aux Bal\u00e9ares, a toutefois condamn\u00e9 la l\u00e9gislation, la qualifiant de \"cynique, honteuse et une insulte \u00e0 l'intelligence des citoyens\".<\/p>\n<p>Airbnb, une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 ind\u00e9pendante de location de logements, a r\u00e9cemment rencontr\u00e9 le minist\u00e8re du tourisme et attendrait un avis juridique sur son \"interpr\u00e9tation\" des nouvelles lois. HomeAway, une autre agence de location priv\u00e9e, a indiqu\u00e9 qu'il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 conseill\u00e9 aux utilisateurs de supprimer les annonces de propri\u00e9t\u00e9s jug\u00e9es non conformes aux nouvelles lois. Par ailleurs, une d\u00e9cision d'un tribunal catalan a annul\u00e9 une amende impos\u00e9e \u00e0 Airbnb, ce qui alimente les sp\u00e9culations sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de modifier la l\u00e9gislation.<\/p>\n<p>En l'\u00e9tat actuel des choses, la loi autorise toujours la location priv\u00e9e \u00e0 des vacanciers, \u00e0 condition que des licences en bonne et due forme soient pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es.
